CBD Flowers: How to Choose a Strain and Store It
How CBD flowers differ by origin, CBD content and aroma, what 'THC under 1%' means and how to store flowers so they keep their aroma.
CBD flowers are the dried female flowers of industrial hemp, high in cannabidiol (CBD) and low in THC. They differ in origin, look, aroma and cannabinoid content – and that's exactly how to choose.
1. CBD content
We list a CBD range for every flower. Gentle strains sit around 6–9%, the popular middle at 11–15% and the strongest, like Mango Haze, at 20–30%.
2. THC and the law
In Czechia, industrial hemp is limited to 1% THC. Every product lists its THC range so you know what you are buying. CBD flowers do not cause the intoxicating effects of marijuana.
3. Origin and aroma
Swiss strains tend to be fresh and fruity, Italian ones often sweeter and fuller. Aroma comes from terpenes – so we describe it for every flower, from citrusy Lemon Haze to berry-sweet Blueberry Haze.
4. How to store them
- In a sealed container or zip bag, ideally a glass jar.
- Dark and cool – light and heat break down terpenes and cannabinoids.
- Out of reach of children and pets.
- Don't grind in advance – whole buds keep their aroma longer.
5. We'll help
We photograph new batches in our own studio so the photo matches reality. Not sure? Message us – we're happy to help you choose.
